Hit the trail or trek out into the backcountry in your Tubbs Wilderness Series Snowshoes, outfitted with the 180 Binding System for convenience, comfort, and control. Tubbs made these bindings easy to get into, so you can get started on your adventure without delay. The 180 binding fits snugly around the front of your foot and heel for comfort and control through your entire stride. Compact stainless-steel teeth on the ball of your feet grip ice and all kinds of snow, from crunchy to powdery to heavy. Heel crampons help when you descend or traverse on sloped terrain. The lightweight, sturdy aluminum frame swings separately from the binding—when you lift your foot, the tail dumps snow so you don't wind up carrying extra weight. When you place your foot, the crampon gets better traction because the frame doesn't stop the crampon teeth short. Strong decking on these frames is puncture- and abrasion-resistant to prevent crampons, rocks, and debris from scratching your snowshoes.
