The Twin Basin Short is made of 100% lightweight, abrasion-resistant DWR-coated nylon fabric with a soft, peached exterior finish. The 6-pocket Twin Basin Short offers UPF 30+ protection from the sun and has a gusseted crotch for uninhibited freedom to move on or off the rock. *Not Available for Shipment to Canada.

Good & Bad
Good: Quality & value are both good. Bad: Back pocket configuration is non-standard and should have been brought to the consumers attention--a photo would have been useful.

A decent pair of shorts
The material is very tough. They’re not going to tear easily. I don't know why they'd go with a button instead of a snap though? Still, they are very lightweight, comfortable, and have lots of huge pockets.

Great Shorts
These shorts are awesome. Quick drying with no restriction at all. Used these shorts on two summit trips into the Windriver mountains, and I absolutely love them. Another great quality item from The North Face.

nothing too special
I guess I wasn't expecting anything above and beyond normal hiking shorts with these, so I don't have too much to gripe about. They are a little bit on the long side. I generally prefer this to super short choices, I might go with a 10in inseam next time. The 12 is just a bit much. Lots of pockets though!
