The North Face Men's Alliance Jacket is specifically designed to be worn with a pack. You'll no longer have to fight your waist-belt for access to your pockets. Instead of putting the pockets where they're always covered by straps and belts, The North Face moved them up and inward so you'll have easy access to necessities without taking your pack off. The Alliance is perfect activities where you live in your pack and harness—like backpacking, light mountaineering, and ski touring. This two-layer HyVent shell will keep you dry in the worst downpour and a removable hood and pitzips let you adjust the jacket to give you the right amount of weather protection without overheating. *Not Available for Shipment to Canada.

Great!
The alliance is probably one of the best jackets I have brought ever. Its very light weight and easy to move around in. It keeps me warm and it’s just nice to have omni not saying it'll keep you warm in below zero degree weathers, but it'll keep you warm for the most of it.

Looks nice, keeps you warm or vice versa depending on whats more important to you. I rate it a 4 outta 5 only because its a little pricy. Wait for your favorite color and you''ll be satisfied.

Awesome Jacket, Awesome Price
This jacket is awesome. The two pockets on the front are very big and great for when you are wearing the jacket with a pack. Another nice addition to this jacket are the ventilation zippers under the armpit. This jacket keeps you warm and if you are going to be in colder conditions you can zip in a liner. Awesome product.

Good Product
The product came right on time and fit my fleece, although it did take a little jiggling to get one of the zippers to work, although now it works great. The jacket did have a faint odor of smoke, however.
