The North Face Alegna Jacket lets you live in the lap of luxury when you've returned from lapping up the backcountry. The super soft, lightweight Spandex jersey softshell fabric is embroidered with flower patterns and stuffed with PrimaLoft insuation. Wear it over a tee, or wear it over a sweater—the Alegna is the perfect jacket for après fun, indoors or out. Thick ribbed cuffs and collar and a fitted cut provide additional style, while the non-insulated stretch side panels keep the coat decidedly versatile. *Not Available for Shipment to Canada.

Love it!
I bought this TNF Alegna jacket last winter while looking for something casual and non-bulky, as I did not plan on skiing in this but wanted to be able to wear it daily to work, shopping, etc. It has proven warm enough for mild-mod winter temps here in NC and is very flattering on the figure. I'm very petite so anything puffy or bulky just makes me look like a marshmallow. Plus I just throw it in the washer/dryer as needed and it still looks like new today! This was my first purchase on Backcountry.com and I was impressed enough to keep coming back... P.S. The sizing is exact: I usually am XS in other TNF gear but had to buy a Small to be able to comfortably fit a light sweater underneath.

cosy comfort
This jacket wraps around much like a favorite shawl. It is not quite as light as a fleece jacket but is wind proof and warm. I see it becoming a favorite for a long time.

Poorly Made
The stuffing slightly comes out therefore you have white stuff all over your jacket at all times. I usually love The North Face but I am very disappointed by this jacket. Poorly made!!!

This jacket rocks! It is super comfortable and the material is awesome. Just make sure you don't snag any of the stitching on anything. I would definitely recommend this jacket to anyone!!!
