The Lotus Designs Long-Sleeve Paddle Top is a light and mobile whitewater top that keeps you cool so you can concentrate on getting through the rapids. Flat-locked seams and a relaxed-cut in the arms and shoulders give you plenty of space to muscle your boat around. Lotus made the nylon Long-Sleeve Paddle Top from their nylon waterproof H2No, which is highly breathable so you won't overheat while working a long section of river. Waterproof StretchCoat closures at the wrists, waistband, and an adjustable hook-and-loop closure neck are enough to keep out most of the water.

versatile piece
I bought this top one size larger for range of motion, which turned out to be a good call. So far, it has been great for fall paddling over a 2 mm farmer-john wetsuit and 0.5mm 'water heater'. I decided to use the same setup for high-wind catamaran sailing in <50 deg water. This included several inadvertent launches as a human missile. The top actually sealed up quite well during re-entry, swimming, and righting the boat. It helped me stave off hypothermia until I was too tired and had to head home... Highly recommended - buying one for my wife.
