These feather-light Capilene long underwear bottoms will keep you comfortable under rain pants during a late summer hike or under you hardshell pants for a spring ski tour. Patagonia made the Capilene 1 Bottoms with a contoured silhouette for easy layering. Gladiodor natural odor control keeps the Capilene smell at bay.

Durable, comfortable, & great performance
I don't think I can wear these out! Much of the long underwear I have bought in the past lasts a season and suddenly I'm left mending holes or throwing them in the trash. These bottoms are a great value - they wick moisture like a pro, are very comfortable on the waist & skin, and don't cost as much as some of the wool alternatives. Patagonia sizing is a bit strange for me (especially in pants). I take a smaller size in the long underwear than I do in their hiking & ski pants.

good stuff
The material is much stronger than other base layers I have purchased from other brands. I think the Patagonia Capilene is great and more durable in comparison to similar products. Good buy!
