Oakley A Frame Goggle Helmet Strap Kit information:

The Oakley A Frame Goggle Helmet Strap Kit improves the fit of your goggles when worn with a helmet. How does it work? By extending the point where the goggle body meets the elastic straps, you get an even pull around your helmet while the goggle body stays comfortable against your face. Can't decide if you need the Helmet Strap Kit? Put on a hat and your A Frame Goggles. Fits evenly over your face without any gaps or pressure spots right? Now put on your helmet and your A Frame Goggles. If they fit any differently, then you would benefit from the A Frame Goggle Helmet Strap Kit.

Reviews:

Waste of money
I bought the A Frames and the pressure on my face when wearing my Giro helmet was just too much. I bought the helmet strap kit, and although it changes the fit of the goggle around the face, the strap is just as short as the one that came with the goggle, so the pressure is still there. I returned the item and gave up on the A frames, the Crowbars fit much better with a helmet.

Works but poorly designed.
The strap improves the fit of the Oakley A-frame on helmets but it was obviously designed by someone with a tiny head and who stopped after fitting it to his helmet. As delivered, the strap has is unsuitable for use on Leedom helmets because the tightening loops foul with the strap retainer. The strap is so short that my goggles pressed against my sinuses enough to induce a headache. Clearly, this disappointing design needs work! In my case I cut the strap, inserted a length of fabric and had a shoe repair stitch the assembly together. Voila! It fits the helmet and fits properly on my face. Too bad Oakley didn't do their homework on this one.

No more fog
Fit Kit works, my A frames used to fog with both my giro and boeri helmets. No more fog with the kit, plus it fits with less strain on the face.

not worth the trouble
I thought the helmet strap kit would create a looser strap to extend over my helmet – wrong! Another two inches of elastic would have done it. Now I have to take the strap to the shoemaker and have him insert more elastic banding so the thing will fit without crushing my face. With Oakley being so precision minded, I can't understand why they can't figure this one out.

Strap is too short.
Oakley's target market must be people with very small heads. With my "Red" brand helmet, size XL but not all that huge, the goggles were still way too tight after I attached the helmet strap. I ended up doing some surgery on the strap to make it longer (Yay for duct tape.) I should have done that in the first place and saved the 25 bucks. Oakley: The goggle preferred by pinheads.
