Icebreaker included thumb loops to keep cold at bay and your sleeves un-rumpled inside your jacket. The unique two-toned design means you don't have to go back to the car to look good at the après ski.

Icebreaker clothing is the best
I first discovered Icebreaker in New Zealand, where of course they are located. Icebreaker is now coming to the States thank goodness! Is the best outdoor wool clothing you can wear. Is soft, not at all itchy, keeps you warm, is stylish, never stinks even after wearing countless times! Is truly a great brand. They do need to branch out making more colors, but for now, since it's the highest quality I am perfectly fine having minimal color selection. I have only owned the Rock Zip styles- love the two toned look on the sleeves and of course love the zip option. Well worth the cost.

I love this top. It's warm. It's not itchy or smelly. It looks good. I wear it hiking, walking and hanging out at home. I wish I could wear this to work. I highly recommend Icebreaker products. They are very well made and wash well.

One wonderfully soft shirt
I prefer natural fibers to synthetics every day of the week. This shirt is the best base layer I've ever found. Great to wear around town and in the mountains. This is a very very very soft shirt. I absolutely love it and own a lot more Icebreaker shirts. Check out Ibex Merino Wool as well. It's not as soft to the touch, but has a different more Earthy style. Both brands fill my winter closet.

Lifesaver
I get cold easily and it's never fun when that happens. I've stocked up on a handful of various merino wool shirts and they have made a huge difference in my ability to cope with the cold. They provide a layer of warmth to the skin without suffocating it. The Rock Zip wears well as its own outer layer as well as a middle layer. Traveling has been great because they don't take up much space in the suitcase, are tasteful and stylish but not faddish, and they don't require constant washing. The Cherry color is more of a fire/orange-red vice the hue shown in the picture. Regardless, any one of these is better than wearing tons of layers and still being cold. No regrets getting these shirts... worth every penny!
