The Black Diamond Deviant Gloves provide amazing grip on leashless tools while you scratch your way to the top of a horrendously hard mixed climb. Their thin Schoeller softshell material hugs your hand to give you the flexibility that regular gloves can't come close to. The Deviant Gloves' Amara synthetic suede palms are sticky enough for steinpulling out the roof, and the double-wrap wrist closure ensures they don't shift on your hands while you're pulling for the anchors.

Makes you feel like spiderman with cold hands!
My complaint is my hands get cold, but they always do when hanging from tools. These gloves give me a new definition of what grip really is. I am not a huge fan of leashless, but if i do then I take these to insure a very good grip. Super durable and well padded too.

Great grip
The deviant fits, like a glove. Nice tight, comfortable fit. Feels like an extreme custom fit. Grips the ax handle very well. Thought that it would be colder with the glove but not with this glove. The only problem was the ordering. A friend rec'd the glove and we measured my hand. The measurements said that I should be wearing a small, but I ordered the medium because I wear medium gloves daily for work. The mediums fit perfect. They may need to revise their measurements or I'm a freak. I prefer the freak.
